The 13th Annual Historical Black College and Universities Recruitment Fair (HBCU) will happen on September 11th, 2023 at Mission High School, 3750 18th Street, San Francisco, 94114, San Francisco, CA.  The purpose of our 13th Annual HBCU Fair is to provide college recruitment opportunities to our San Francisco area students.  The rich history, culture, and excellent educational opportunities offered by our partners HBCU institutions include ON-SITE COLLEGE ADMISSION OFFERS from over 55 HBCUs to recruit San Francisco area students to attend 4-year colleges and universities.  The HBCU representatives will discuss the culture, cost, financial aid, key degrees, and programs offered by their institutions and the reasons HBCUs are great choices for all students, including economically and culturally disadvantaged students.  This is especially beneficial for those who may be at risk of dropping out of high school and others who may not pursue enrollment at a 4-year college or university because of the high cost of attending college in California.  Our partnership with the United College Action Network (U-CAN) ensures a quality HBCU College Recruitment Fair experience that provides students with opportunities to receive on-the-spot college admissions and scholarship commitments, application fee waivers, and other incentives upon meeting certain admission requirements.  The 13th Annual Historical Black College and Universities Recruitment Fair is open to all students.
